Steven Johnson

I believe that the animated style is far more effective in this time period because, as Steven Johnson said, people put great ideas as though they are puzzle pieces. When we talk to others throughout the day our ideas seem to be more local, not because our mind is limited to our surroundings but because we aren't exposed to a wider range of ideas concerning certain topics.  When we allow connections to each other, whether it be face-to-face or technology, we still communicate. Therefore we have adjusted ourselves to a more advanced technological species. As we continue to communicate this way and gain ideas we give more attention to the animated version of an explanation. Personally, I like the animated style because I am I visual learner.
